You know that“Alan Wake 2” reference that popped upon LinkedIn? Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that, yes, there’s more Alan Wake on the way. It’s just not a sequel… or downloadable content for the original game.
“Fans of the franchise will be excited to learn that yes, more Wake is coming! But to be absolutely certain to avoid confusion, this nextWakeinstallment will not beAlan Wake 2,” Oskari Hakkinen toldEurogamer.
More details are coming along with the official announcement, which should be soon enough — he says “Fall 2011 is probably a good guess” as to when the content will be released.
“It’s something that’ll definitely give more to theWakefans out there, but just as importantly, this installment will also give an opportunity for players who aren’t familiar with the franchise to finally jump on board,” he says.
