Konami has officially announced thatMetal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eaterwill be arriving on the 3DS some time next year. It won’t be an enhanced version of the game with updated visuals, if Konami is to be believed. Instead, the game is said to be a faithful port of the original PS2 game.
I’m strangely okay with that.Snake Eateris one of the best games of the last generation and my personal favoriteMGS. A faithful port onto a handheld system is pretty cool, and I think a mixture of old ports and brand new games is going to really help the 3DS get a great, varied library together.
