We don’t think Terminal Reality could have gotten better PR than the hype surrounding word that Activision Blizzard had dropped their Ghostbusters project. While Activision Blizzard reps wouldn’t truly comment on the game’s fate, Terminal Reality’s Mark Randel is adamant: you will playGhostbusters.

“Ghostbusterswill be published,” he toldvideogaming247. “That’s all I can say at the moment.”

The title (which has been in development for awhile) had received a massive PR push prior its publisher woes, including a top spot on the cover ofGame Informer. It had seemed unlikely that the game would be scrapped altogether, but this is comforting confirmation for those looking to have busting make them feel good.

Further proof that the game is alive and well: we received preview code for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions ofGhostbustersearlier this week. While it’s only a short snippet of gameplay, it does confirm that the game is on track and very playable. Check back tomorrow for our full impressions.
