Here’s something you might not have known:Lost Planet‘s lead character, the horrendously named Wayne, was modeled after a Japanese television actor. The Korean-born Byung-hun Lee has won a slew of awards and has made the ladies swoon since his acting debut in 1991.
Here’s something I certainly didn’t know: THEY’RE MAKING AG.I. JOEMOVIE, WTF!? Why does it take the officialCapcom US blogfor me to know this information? Shouldn’t I have been informed the moment the rights to this film were optioned? If anything, someone should be compensating me for all of that time I spent as a child trying to find a Storm Shadow figure. That bugger was next to impossible to find.
The point (and I do have one): Lee has been signed to play the role of Storm Shadow in the upcoming film, which is set for release in August 2009 (according to the ever-reliableIMDB). He’ll be joined by Sienna Miller as The Baroness and Ray Park (X-Men‘s Toad) as Snake Eyes.
Please don’t suck. And sign me to play Cobra Commander. Please.
