Crysis 2is one of the few modern-day shooters where there’s some justification for why you, the player, can single-handedly take on an army — and survive the fight relatively unscathed, in most cases. (Ramirez didn’t have a Nanosuit.) “Be the weapon,” commands this latest trailer.
I like the look of the few night segments shown here, because I feel as if that’s something videogames still need to work on in general. Other than that,Crysis 2is looking very much like an interactive sci-fi action movie, based on this video.
Granted, there’s nothing inherently wrong with that; you look at the types of games being made today, and apparently people eat this stuff up.
