I’m a pretty big fan of the simplicity ofPong, and Sega’sVirtua Tenniskept me entertained through at least one sequel, but I’ve grown tired of knocking balls back and forth. I must admit, though, thatSega Superstar Tennishas piqued my interest.
The gang’s all here! These new screenshots (from the Xbox 360 version of the title) show off some of our old pals: Sonic the Hedgehog, AiAi, Ulala, Dr. Robotnik, Amigo, and even that creepy bee chick-thing fromSamba De Amigo. With a superstar cast like this, how could the Sumo Digital developed title fail to hit the right notes with the crowd who longs for the good old days of the Sega Dreamcast?
Xbox 360 owners aren’t the only ones who will get a chance to get all “40-love” on Dr. Robotnik’s ass on the Green Hill Zone courts —Sega Superstar Tennisis also coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, and the Nintendo DS.
