We knew it couldn’t possibly be long before the new game based onScott Pilgrim vs. The Worldwould be hitting the consoles. After all, the film is out in less than a month now and why on Earth would they pass up the cross-promotional opportunity?
Well, now we know when the game will be released. The PlayStation 3 gets first crack, withPilgrimdropping in the PSN store on August 10th, three days prior to the theatrical release. Xbox 360 fans will have to wait a couple more weeks to get their hands on it, as it will release on that platform August 25th.
I have next to zero interest inScott Pilgrimas either a comic or a film. I’m sure both are lovely as there is much praise for the property but I just can’t get into it. The game, however, has me salivating. So, I’ll definitely be picking it up for PS3.
