IESBis reporting that Steven Spielberg is in negotiations to develop aHalomovie. Spielberg was “blown away” by Stuart Beattie’s script for theHalomovie, which is based on the first novel in theHalobook series.
Hard to say if this is good news or not. I would have loved whatever Peter Jackson and Neil Blomkamp would have put out (have you seenthe trailersforDistrict 9?!) but not sure with Steven. LikeJoystiq, Spielberg left a really bad taste in my mouth with the lastIndiana Jonesmovie.
How do you feel about this if it turns out to be true? Think Steven can do aHalomovie justice?
