If the enthusiasts onRock Band’sofficial message boardsare to be believed, it appears as though a future set of downloadable content for the rhythm game is set to be country music. Apparently, a report from CMT this Saturday confirmed that Harmonix would be whipping up some knee-slapping, backwater sound at some point this December.
A developer who works for Harmonix tried to put out the fire, but didn’t do so great of a job. He told the masses on the forums that “[Harmonix] haven’t shut the door on anything” in regards to representing different genres of music in the form of DLC.
The developer’s statement makes me all giddy inside. Not because I may be rocking to some Alan Jackson in a few months, but because it sounds like the door is still open for somewumpscuttunes. Make that happen, Harmonix.
