After sorting through nearly 200 applications and moreInceptionreviews than any one person should ever read, Tom and I have narrowed our list down for the second round of the hiring process for Modern Method’s new movie site. We got a lot of amazing applications and really want to thank everyone for applying, but if you didn’t receive an email from us this morning then I’m sorry to say that we didn’t select you for the next step.
However, we would like to point out that the site will have community blogs and that we’d love to have anyone who didn’t make it onto staff write there. In case you didn’t notice, Modern Method loves to promote from within the community (I’m an old school Destructoid community member myself) so that’s a great way to continue writing, make new friends and maybe — some time in the future — join the staff.
Once again, thank you to everyone who applied. It was great to see so many people so passionate about movies. For those who have been contacted, we’re very much looking forward to seeing what you’re able to do in the second round.
