According toseveralretailers, it appears that 505 Games is bringing its game Wii-exclusive drumming game, calledWe Rock: Drum Kingin Europe, to North America this year.
Re-dubbedRolling Stone: Drum King(that’s themusic magazine, not the band), the title eschews the use of a drum peripheal, instead going a different route — the game will require two Wii Remotes for air drumming. You know, like actual drum sticks, except they’re just Wii Remotes.
The game is developed by ARC System Works, and was announced for European release awhile back, with a 30-song track list that included such songs as Saliva’s “Click Click Boom,” Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild” and an instrumental version of DJ Shadow’s “Organ Donor.”
505 hasn’t officially announced the game for North America, so we don’t know what changes the game will see; we have however re-printed the track list for the European release after the jump. There’s also some images in the gallery that 505 released of the European game, which probably won’t do much for your enthusiasm.
The box art, as found onGameFly, is also a bit curious — why bother to get theRolling Stonename if you’re just going to cover it with some dude’s head on your box? Sheesh.
