Own a PlayStation 3 and having an issue withGrand Theft Auto IV‘s? Rockstar may finally have the fix, having just released a new patch that “prevents Gamespy’s servers from being overloaded and therefore reduces the impact on those servers that were causing the game to stutter and lock up.”

All of that is quite a mouthful, but whatever gets the job done, right? Rockstar says they will continue to monitor performance both on and offline and will provide further updates if necessary.
