Remember theRock Bandstage kit which wasfirst revealedback in January? Well, it looks like it’s finally going to start showing up in people’s homes. The kit produced byPerformance Design Products, consisting of a fog machine and multi-color strobe light (which flashes to the music), will retail for $99. The accessory is only available for the 360 but will be compatible with both versions ofRock Band.
This is really stupid. Who on Earth is going to buy this thing? If I’m going to spend another hundred bucks on an accessory forRock Bandthat isn’t used in the actual playing of the game, it had better come with D-cups and the capability to suck a golf ball through a garden hose. That would be bringing the rock and roll experience into the living room.
Not entirely sure on exactly when this will be in stores, as I’ve seen at least three different release dates on various retailers. I think it’s probably safe to say it should be arriving in November, however, just in time for moron parents to buy it for their spoiled kids.
