With all the popularity surrounding Marvel of the last few years, it seems like films and games based on the characters are flying by at the speed of light. It’s no surprise, then, to see that a game based onThe Punisherhas recently been announced, developed byZen Studios(and as they put it, developed by a group of massive Marvel True Believers).
What we know so far is that the game will be an FPS and feature arena-based multiplayer, and will use the Unreal Engine 3. Jigsaw, Bushwhacker, Barracuda and Silver Sable are mentioned, in addition to the gritty style that trademarks the comic. No word on whether you can play as The Punisher, but that would be totally freaking badass.
The game is being developed specifically for the PSN, so you won’t be able to score this one anywhere else. No word on a release date yet, but we’ll you more info as soon as it comes to light. In the meantime, practice your punishing skills on your little sister.
