Microsoft’sProject Natal— a wireless gaming device that tracks a person’s full-body motion through a variety of sensors — isn’t hitting retail anytime soon. In fact, you won’t be able to get your hands, er, body in front of it this year according to Microsoft’s vice president of everything, John Schappert.

In an interview withMTV Multiplayer, Schappert simply said “Not in 2009,” in response to a possible 2010 release query.
