Ubisoft has announced thatPrince of Persia Classicwill be coming to the PlayStation Network this Thursday, October 23.

As the name implies, the game is a remake of Jordan Mechner’s 1989 title, featuring updated graphics, music, and more. If this game sounds and looks familiar, that’s because it is —Prince of Persia Classicwas released on Xbox LIVE Arcade last June. Hopefullythat strange glitchhas been worked out of the PSN version.

No word on pricing, but the XBLA version cost around $10, so we’d expect roughly the same come Thursday.

Designed with Next-Gen consoles in mind, Prince of Persia® Classic features revamped character designs and animations as well as impressive visual and lighting effects to give the game a 3D look. Even longtime fans of the original are sure to be in for a surprise when they come across newly added traps, puzzles and enemies. Prince of Persia® Classic for the PlayStation®Network will have an ESRB rating of “T” for Teen.
