WithPrince of Persiabecoming a major motion picture the toy lines are coming out of the woodwork. We got a peek at theLegos coming out, but now it’s time for the action figures to shine.ToyWizhas pre-orders up for the action figure line, which is being made by McFarlane Toys. There are a whole bunch of the Prince himself in different outfits, a few enemies and a few playsets. The toys ship in May so you can play along with the movie’s plot all you want.
The figures look pretty solid, but I’m not that excited for them, though the price points aren’t too bad. The names of the toys are my introduction to the Prince’s name in the film, however. I think I’m OK with Dastan, though I’d rather that they kept his name a mystery. It would have made for some great running jokes and added a little flair to the character.
