Half ofthis storyis basically already confirmed 50 times over as Japan’s Nikkei newspaper has revealed thatWii Fit Pluswill be releasing some time this year. That has been known for a good long period of time viamultiple rumors, but the other 50 percent of the announcement is a bit more intriguing. The paper reports that we’ll be getting a new Mario this year too.
The Nikkei is usually a very reliable source and reveals thatWii Fit Pluswill have online capabilities that allow players to compete with friends and family. The game will also feature better sensitivity, which is likely to come from Wii MotionPlus. The excitement level is high amongst you all, I’m sure.
As for the Mario game not much is told except that it’s coming this year. Nintendo has of course been working on one and even said the game would show uplater than early 2009, which it now is. If they announce another spin-off title instead of a main Mario game there will probably be riots in the streets.
