I have to hand it to theNeed For Speed SHIFTmarketing team. All oftheir trailersfor the game so far have been about the cars and nothing else. The only sounds you hear are the roar of the engines and the sound of metal on metal when cars collide into each other. There’s no bullsh*t pop music, no weird camera angles — these trailers are about the racing experience.
I playedNeed for Speed SHIFTa while back and it was a real enjoyable experience despite the fact that I don’t like simulation racing games.SHIFTis designed for players that are new to that type of racing and for players that are hardcore simulation fans. It’s a win-win situation for all sides.
