I think I totally jinxed us when I was talking about, y’know, delayswhen soliciting requests for questions this past weekend. Turns out our recording software was listening and said “Hey, I got a crazy idea — let’s make Linde sound like he’s laughingin anticipationof forthcoming jokes, make long awkward pauses longer and more awkward, and poop in his cereal!”

So, there’s a slight technical futz in the works this week, but nothing that can’t be fixed with enough gin and positive thinking (but mostly gin). I’m gonna be outfitting my ol’ rig with a new bundle of happiness (2GB ram kit, hurrah!) from Newegg next week, so with any luck this won’t be an issue in coming Podtoids. Rather than scrap what was an otherwise excellent show, however, I’m gonna fire up the cognitive dissonancearrayand sally forth with Podtoid 33.
