Rumor started to sprout up yesterdaythat Q-Games would be showing off a brand new PixelJunk title at this year’s GDC, but thanks toDylan Cuthbert’s Twitter feed, the rumor was quickly dispelled. However, Cuthbert did mention thatPixelJunk Eden Encorewill be shown off, and he was more than happy to tease about the next entry in the PixelJunk series.
In an interview withiHobo, Cuthbert says:
It’s still secret but it will be something that invokes old memories yet has something completely new and unused before in it too.
Well, that’s vague, but considering the beauty and fun of the previous games, I expect it to be something wonderful. Hell, I’d be impressed if the new game could break my outstandingPixelJunk Monstersrecord (three days straight glued to the couch, that is).
