Perfect Darkfor the XBLA was finallyconfirmed last weekduring the madness that was E3. It’s probably one of the best news to come out of E3 for me. Yes, I know thatPerfect Darkdoesn’t really stand the test of time when it comes to FPS games, but it was one of my all time favorite games on the Nintendo 64 and I will gladly pick this game up again.

4J Studios isbehind the revivalof this classic shooter, which is going to be in full HD, 1080p and will be running at 60 frames per second. Everything that was in the original game will be here (no Expansion Pak required!) and there’s going to be new Xbox LIVE features such as online multiplayer.

Below are some screenshots forPerfect DarkXBLA and it’s hard to say if going HD, 1080p on a Nintendo 64 game is a good thing. It’s like comparing a picture of dog sht taken with a cell phone camera to a picture of dog sht taken with a Canon 10MP camera. One looks better, but they’re still both pictures of dog sh*t.

By the way, don’t forget the freePerfect Darkdashboard themebefore it’s gone for good!
