Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walkerhas been called a spiritual sequel to the last big console outing, but Kojima Productions PR chief Jiro Oishi has revealed that it was once a sequel in a very direct way. It was originally billed asMetal Gear Solid 5: Peace Walker.
The five was dropped after E3, where the number had briefly been flashed during a teaser. While it’s no longer a direct sequel, the game is still being daubed in production values equal to the status, and this is looking like a definite must-have for fans of the series. I know I’m eager to get my hands on it. What about you lot?
