A few months ago on his blog, animator and artistPaul Robertson— of “Pirate Babys Cabana Street Fight 2006” and “Kings of Power 4 Billion %” fame — mentioned that he was commissioned to submit art for UDON’sDarkstalkers Tributebook, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the supernatural fighter. Robertson isno stranger to gaming: a lot of his art is of the 2D pixel variety and he’s contributed art to 5th Cell titles likeLock’s QuestandScibblenauts.
Yesterday, he posted his contribution, which you can see in its native resolutionhere, or in the gallery below. (warning, may cause seizures and orgasms). If you’re at all familiar with Robertson’s work, you won’t be surprised that theMecha Fetusmember picked Jedah’s “Fetus of God” environment for his contribution.
As if chibi B.B. Hood and Anakaris weren’t awesome enough, the rest of the UDON art book looks phenomenal. Since everything UDON touches seems toturn to gold, I’m sure this new art book will be the same. It will feature 300 pages of art, but that type of package comes at a price: the book will retail for $80, plus shipping.
