Despite taking a downturn of 6,572 units since last week, PlayStation Portable is still rocking the handheld market in Japan. According togamesindustry.biz, the PSP sold 67,452 units compared to the Nintendo’s DS sales of 56,968 units for the week that ended on July 27. In fact, the PSP is still rocking so much booty that it outsold every console. If you ever needed confirmation why Square-Enix is not going to bother with a Japanese version ofFinal Fantasy XIIIon the Xbox 360, these numbers might be why....

Bunnies, bunnies and more bunnies! Everywhere you look Ubisoft is saturating the market and Internet with advertising for their game,Rayman Raving Rabbids. Starting with a plan to cover Paris in bunnies, Ubisoft had a crew set out one evening to stick hundreds of stickers to signs, billboards, and even vehicles in hopes of getting the word out about the video game. I hope those stickers come off easily or the bunnies won’t be the only ones screaming....

Francis Ford Coppola’s sequel is widely considered one of the greatest films of all time, picking up six Academy Awards, including one for Best Picture. Sure, the game shares similarities in plot points, key characters, and number of olive-skinned people with dark hair getting shot....
I would have thought by now that more developers would be capitalizing on the Nintendo DS for RTS games. The touchscreen input method should lend itself handily to designating targets and directing troops. And the pick-up-and-play nature of the device would be perfect for short skirmishes between friends while waiting for transportation or in a line somewhere. After reviewingTransformers: War for Cybertron, I wasn’t going to bother writing aboutTransformers: Cybertron Adventures, as I figured it would be more or less the same game with downgraded graphics and remote-supported aiming. It’s a testament to how little promotion Activision has done of this Wii version, then, that I was shocked to discover a completely different game. With all new story elements and radically different gameplay,Cybertron Adventuresis actually worth talking about....
