SSFIV: Watch Juri rock T-Hawk and Deejay and latest vids

I’ll admit that I was turned off by the announcement ofSuper Street Fighter IV. I suppose I’ve become a bit update-expectant in this age of downloads. But after reading a few previews and listening to Capcom’s Seth Killian speak on the latest episode of 1UP’s “4 Guys 1 Up,” I’ve become convinced that a full disc release is a good thing. New characters like Juri, T-Hawk, and Deejay won’t be the sole additions to this latestSFtitle — Capcom is also rebuilding and perhaps even fixing several components....

Super Mario Galaxy: My favorite videogame this generation

May 23rd is already shaping up to be one of the best nerd days of 2010. Not only will the warm, long, lazy days of summer slowly begin to ease their way into our lives, but May 23rd, at least in my house, will be spent preparing for theLostseries finale (with endless margaritas, naturally) and, I don’t know, maybe playing a little something calledSUPER MARIO GALAXY 2! OMG BEST DAY EVER!...

Syndicate art confirms the game was/is in the works

A remake/reboot of theSyndicateserieshas been rumoredto be under development by Electronic Arts for a good long while now. The game has quite the cult following, and anyone who has played it should know why. I haven’t, so I have no clue. But from descriptions it sounds awesome. Who wouldn’t want to go around a cyber punk future destroying enemy corporations in a game, especially when that game is rumored to be developed by the talented guys at Starbreeze for EA?...

Thai officials shut down game sites following boy’s suicide

Yesterday, we told you abouta 12-year-old boy who committed suicideafter his parents banned him from gaming. The most curious aspect of the story was the fact that Thailand’s overbearing Ministry of Health didnotuse the death as an excuse to exercise more of its heavy-handed control over the country’s games industry, as it usually does whenever game-themed violence appears. Seems like we spoke too soon on that count, as the Thai Government has beenclosing down dozensof gaming and gambling Web sites in the name of protecting the chilluns....

The Daily Hotness: New Ratchet & Clank game GET!

Hi, my name is Samit, and I’m an addict. I’m addicted to … not finishing games. I could probably name ten different games off the top of my head that I own and have not completed (and I haven’t come close to finishing many of those games). I guess I have an ADD of sorts when it comes to games — I move on to the latest, greatest thing when it comes out, and often, I’ll never go back to the game I was playing....
