With sales of Xbox 360s notoriously and consistently low in Japan, Microsoft is doing everything in their power to entice the denizens of the land of the rising sun into purchasing their products. In another attempt at the aforementioned spread, Microsoft is releasing their Xbox 360 Arcade version in Japan come March 6th. The Xbox 360 Arcade will retail for the same price as existing models (27,800 yen) but comes bundled with five Live Arcade games, a 256MB memory card unit, a wireless controller, and features an HDMI port....

Developer Turn 10 is letting the fans decide what cars make it in the next batch of DLC forForza 3. Turn 10 has teamed up with car enthusiast blog Jalopnik for this contest and you’re able to go vote for the carsyou want to appear here. There are 120 cars for you to choose from and voting comes to close on January 29. The DLC full of vintage cars will be released later this Summer....

Treyarch has some big shoes to fill with the nextCall of Dutyand it looks like they have a good handle on things based on this reveal trailer forBlack Ops. Obsidian Entertainment’s long-overdue spycraft RPG,Alpha Protocol, has finally cropped up on Steam for pre-order. To entice you into coughing up cash before launch, ordering the game will get you a free copy ofSpace Seige, a 2008 sci-fi RPG also published by SEGA. Looking at thereviewsforSpace Seige, it sounds to be a fairly mediocre game. But if you were already going to buyAlpha Protocol, I suppose you could do worse than getting a less-than-stellar title to play as a bonus....

Alisting onAmazon.demay point to a new retail bundle for the fancypants new Xbox 360. The listing shows that this system has 4GB of memory, which is a nice little boost for the Arcade system. While Amazon.de doesn’t come right out and say that this is one of the redesigned Xbox 360 units, it likely is. Right now it is listed for 148 Euro, set for an August 2010 release. I’m kind of hoping that Microsoft chops the price down for the holiday season for the Arcade bundle....

While some of us were waiting for better games thanMotorstormto be released, it seems that a lot more were just itching for that hundred dollar price drop. Since Sony announced it wasslashing prices like the Yorkshire Ripperon its PlayStation 3,sales on Amazonhave shot through the roof, now holding the retailer’s number 3 sales slot — a huge improvement over the 24th slot it held prior. Furthermore, in the last 24 hours it has become the largest sales gainer as far as videogame related products go....

I attended the Australian EB Games Conference recently and got a sneak peek at some of the upcoming titles. As a Disney fan, I was insanely excited when I heard about Epic Mickey last year. I was even more excited when I heard that we were not only going to see actual game play but Adam Creighton, one of the producers of the game, would be the one playing it....
