New Matt Hazard videos make us laugh … just a little bit

Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazardlooks like a videogame designed purely to make players say, “I see what you did there.” In fact, try and spot what developer Vicious Cycle did there with the above video. I think you’ll definitely see what was done. There. We have more footage for you after the jump, all as deliciously stupid as the above. The idea of corporate-controlled societies always fascinate me and the line of thinking that technologies are in development that could wrest control of my very will sends a little chill up my spine. Square Enix decided to take a much more lighthearted approach to the effects such a technology could have in the lives of the people....

Nintendo and Nyko settle suit over wireless Nunchuk

It’s been awhile since Nintendo filed suit against third-party peripherial manufacturer Nyko over their Kama wireless Nunchuk controller for the Wii. Yeah, those kinky ones. Nintendo had beef with the product, calling it a copy of their offering, callinginfringementon their designs and trademarks. Imagine that! NIS America announces Atelier Annie for US

Atelier Annieis just the sort of game that I never expect to see released in the US. Not because of the anime stylings, as those can fare pretty well here, but because of the gameplay, which is best described as a resort-building sim meets an alchemy RPG. The game’sbeen out in Japan since March, but NIS America has just announced it for a US release in late October. Alongside the announcement ofSakura Wars: So Long, My Lovegetting localized as well, it seems gamers that are interested in something a little off the beatenpath should start to look more towards NIS America to bring them what they want....
