Activision just blasted our inbox with February’sGuitar Hero World Tourdownloadable content line-up, and it’s an interesting one. February 19 (“Wings Track Pack”) February 26 (“Bog Seger Track Pack”) The track packs will run you $5.49 (440 MS Points), with each song available for $1.99 (160 MS Points or 200 Wii Points). Oh, and don’t forget that today marks the day that the free Bruce Springstein pack is available, featuring “Born to Run” and “My Lucky Day....

So, as you could have suspected,Resident Evil Zerofor the Wii looks identical to the GameCube game that came out in 2002. It is, after all, a port. What should you expect? Well,Resident Evil Zero, really. It supports the Wii Remote and nunchuk, but offers no motion or pointer controls. You might as well be playing with a GameCube controller. Oh — if you want to do that, you’re able to, too....

Activision has reached beyond the typical videogame voice actor talent pool and right into Hollywood for its upcoming Marvel Comics titles. Val Kilmer is set to voice baddie Walker Sloan inSpider-Man: Edge of Time, with Laura Vandervoort (Supergirl from TV’sSmallville) as Mary Jane, andBattlestar Galactica‘s Katee Sackhoff as Black Cat. And remember that showHeroes, and actor Milo Ventimiglia? He’s voicing one of the three new mutants inX-Men Destiny. He’ll be joined by Jamie Chung (an actress who kicked off her career on MTV’sThe Real World: San Diego) and actor Scott Porter....

Everyone screams. It’s the universal sign of terror or excitement. After watching an episode ofAmerican Idolit’s become clear to me that screaming is also a valid form of entertainment. Contestants scream when they talk, wail when they lose, and threaten to blow my speakers when they win. There’s one female contestant that howls when she laughs and begs. I think she needs psychiatric intervention, but I’m going to enjoy when she crashes and burns on live television....

Darksidersis considered by many to be a great game, albeit one that suffers from an intense case of plagiarism. Comparisons to theThe Legend of Zeldarun amok, with even the game’s developer, Vigil, happily confessing to borrowing gameplay elements from the classic Nintendo franchise. When two things are compared, one mustalwaysbe declared superior to the other. While many would say thatZeldais better thanDarksidersthanks to years of innovation, prestige, and inimitable charm, those people would bewrong....

Just because the Governator is too busy Governating to be terminating, that doesn’t mean theTerminatorfranchise is dead. Next year, FOX will begin to airTerminator: The Sarah ConnorChronicles, which (not surprisingly) follows the adventures of the series’ heroine. A new film is also in the works,Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, which should see a 2009 release. Now you can add a videogame to that list, as a tie-in to the motion picture has been announced for PC, console, and mobile platforms....

Keiji Inafune, who is known best for his involvement withMega Man,Onimusha, andDead Rising, recently stopped by Bungie’s Seattle-based studio. Ordinarily, this wouldn’t be a big deal in and of itself; what made the trip so specialwas a commentmade by the industry veteran. Bungie is an amazing studio that has made incredible games. So I was always curious about how they made their games in hopes of being up to add some of the flavor into Capcom games....

Today has been a great day in the world of the Virtual Console! I have to say, I just love my job here at Destructoid. I get to go to swanky events, play games long before they hit store shelves and get awesome swag like vials ofperiod blood. Remember K’NEX? Those crazy construction toys? I’m a Lego guy, but I always thought these were fun too. My issue is that I never knew where to go with these starting out? While Legos easily lend themselves to automobiles and buildings, I was never sure what to do with K’NEX. Now I know, thanks to a new partnership with Nintendo, I know what I’ll do: I’ll build a Bowser. Now you’ll be able to build Mario, Luigi, and Princess with the new officially licensed sets coming from K’NEX in 2011....

While it certainly wasn’t without its faults, I foundL.A. Noireto be something all gamers should experience. If price was a major concern, well, how does $44.99 sound instead? Amazon has the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game for that muchright now during its sale. It’s understandable if picking up household items and rotating them isn’t your bag. Namco Bandai’s upcoming adventure gameMajin and the Forsaken Kingdomis being released at a very dangerous time period for a new IP with little marketing, but its pleasantly cheap price on Amazon may win it a few sales yet. ThePS3 version of the game costs a mere $39.99, which is surely worth a gamble. I’ve been eager to give this game as much spotlight as possible, since I’ve loved everything I’ve played of it so far and I think it’ll be a wonderful new game that is tragically undersold....
