People Can Fly, the studio that Epic snapped up a few years back, is supposed to be working on an action title with the whole EA Publishing thingy. [Update: PlayStation Network restored in the United States and Canada.] So it turns out that the PlayStation Network is getting restored STARTING TODAY! Sony sent out a press release detailing the restoration and Sony’s Kazuo Hirai gives a round down of what to expect in the video above. The phased restoration will be on a country by country basis and begins with America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East....

Apparently in the past many PSP users clamoured for the ability to download content directly from the PSP store to their PSPs instead of using the PS3 as a go-between. Seems like a pain in the ass, especially if you don’t own a PS3 just yet. Now the news is here: Sony has announced the PSP store will be available sometime in the future for direct use on the PSP via a WiFi connection....
I know exactly what’s going to happen because I’ve played this story out so many times before. I’ve spent a lot of time looking atArmy of Two: The 40th Day. Owing to sagging profits and and a less-than-firm grip on their once invulnerable spot at top of the third party heap, Electronic Arts is looking to make some changes in their corporate structure, starting with Mythic and their Redwood Shores studio. An internal email from a trustworthy source who wishes to remain anonymous reveals that John Riccitiello, CEO of Electronic Arts, has tasked every studio and company within the monolithic publisher with getting their rising costs in line with revenue, which in plain English means layoffs....
