If massaging your Wii Balance Board is hot, then this is on f*cking fire, as that’s what you do with your board and included silicon sleeve. Yes, you heard correctly. The game, which is to be shown off at TGS’ Sense of Wonder Night, lets you choose a virtual partner, picking from various shapes and ages....

Godfree over atGamertag Radiojust received word that the Xbox 360 and PC versions ofMedal of Honor Airbornehave been delayed until September 4. The word comes down from the game’s community manager, who also mentions that a playable demo should be on its way. Medal of Honor Airborneand delays are old pals. The game was originally announced in early 2006, and was initially slated for a Winter 2006 release. This first delay could have been caused by the early jump to the Unreal Engine 3, which has also been cited as a reason for the more recent delay of the PlayStation 3 version of the title (now set for a November release)....

Sonyhas announcedthat the classic roleplaying gameXenogearswill hit the PlayStation Network in North America this Tuesday. Featuring active-time-battle and combo systems,Xenogearshas become a classic thanks in no small part to its uniquely deep themes. Xenogearshit the Japanese PSN way back in June 2008, and has been one of the most eagerly anticipated digital re-releases. In case you were thinking that Sega’s zombie-themedYakuzagame,Yakuza Of The End, was some cheap cash-in on the already-moldering zombie-game trend, you’d be wrong. It’s certainly a cash-in, but they’re going all out, if these two new trailers are any indication. The first one confirms that all the overwrought drama characteristic of anyYakuzatitle is still in there, and the second gameplay-oriented trailer below shows off the franchise’s absolute love of minigames, product placement, and new gun-based zombie-swarm fighting....

My confession: I’m not a hugeZeldafan. In fact, I never really played a lot of the earlier games. It just wasn’t my thing when I was a kid, soZeldaholds no special place in my heart. But, despite what you’ve heard from other less-than-reputable sources around the Internets,Twilight Princessis an instant classic in my eyes. I love this game. I love the art style, I love the tone, and I even love the developing story....

I could only take about a week of weed whacking inFrontierVillewhen it originally launched on Facebook this year. No word on that one yet, but now bothFarmVilleandMafia Warswill kick things off for this deal between the social game maker and Yahoo this week....

It looks like therumors were true, for the most part anyway! Activision just sent over a press release announcing 17 new tracks which add up to about 60 tracks in total. Comparing this to the rumor list though, there’s still about 13 tracks or so that have yet to be confirmed. Of the new tracks listed, I’ll be looking forward to making myself look like an idiot trying to play Disturbed, Slipknot, and White Zombie....

2K Games has announced a brand new installment in the classicPirates!series. Simply titledSid Meier’s Pirates!, this new title is in development by 2K China and is scheduled for a Wii release and will see players tackle the evil Marquis de la Montalban on the high seas of the 17th century. “We are big fans of the Wii and thinkPirates!is the perfect game to bring to that platform,” says Sid Meier himself....

Therumorshave finally been validated, for Sony haveunveiled plansfor an 80 gigabyte PS3 to hit stores in Korea on June 16. Retailing for the Korean equivalent of $556 (before tax), there has been nothing confirmed about a release in other countries, although it would seem likely. That said, a spokesperson for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has come out to say that there are no current plans for a European release, at least....

For those of you who still don’t know, Origin is a new digital distribution service from Electronic Arts. All of you hardcore EA fans out there (all eight of you) now have a centralized hub to satiate that unending thirst for franchised sports titles andSims 3expansions. I know what you’re thinking: “Isn’t it just another Steam type of service?” Well, you’ll be pleased to hear that you’re only half correct. While Origin does provide a similar service to PC users, it is more focused on becoming a centralized hub for mobile gaming devices....

It appears as though the big holiday rush of AAA titles has finally come to a close. As a result, not many unreleased titles have Achievements or Trophies listed for them. You know that mainstream media’s “violent videogame” controversy has jumped the shark when DS strategy gameAdvance Warsis being linked to a murder, buta link has been made. A tenuous one, yes, but a link nonetheless. 20-year-old Nottingham resident Matthew Pyke was anAdvance Warsnut who apparently ran a fan site for the turn-based tactical game under the screen name “Shade.” He was found stabbed to death this past Friday, and police are investigating his love ofAdvance Warsas part of the murder investigation, along with other games....
