Not wild. Tame. Tame as in there’s no one in line to play these things. Pre-orders are sold out all over Tokyo, but when I went to Bic Camera in Shinjuku to get in some 3DS time on these demo stations, the roped off area for a line had no line! I got my time in and stood back to see if anyone else wanted a go. Nada. A few return trips from some younger kids, sure, but not much else....
I’ve been looking into buying more gaming action figures lately (which is a good excuse to plugTomopop), and I think I just found my latest must-buy. It was a given thatGears of Waraction figures were on their way, but I didn’t expect them to be quite this awesome. While certainly not a toy you could do much actual playing with, this Locust in the midst of having his head exploded is still going to look awesome on any gamer’s shelf....
Last month, Brazilian developer Gameblox Interactive quietly announced that they were at work on an unofficial remake of Sega Genesis title,Kid Chameleon. They posted some concept art over the following weeks and have now revealed the look of the main character, whom they’ll be calling “Max” in the game. I dig it. I’ll miss the old leather jacket but there’s something appropriate about the look Max has. It’s the sort of thing which would have been dreamed up by someone back in the 90’s....
If you’ve been following what the United States Air Force does with our money, you’d know that they originallybought about 300 PS3s in 2008. They liked them so much that theybought 2,200 more last year. The USAF made some supercomputer with the systems, grouping these 2,200 systems with the 336 ones they already had from 2008 to make one massive research machine. And gaming rig?
