Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Move (currently known as “theÂTime Crisis controller”) shifted over a million units since launch, and production has been upped to meet demand. According to Jack Tretton, the company is “absolutely maxed” as retailers sell out across the nation. “We had to go back and increase production twice, we’re absolutely maxed out right now,” says SCEA bigwig Tretton. Despite Sony’s boasting, analysts remain unimpressed, with one stating that units haven’t been selling out in stores, and another saying that the sales for Move have been good, but not amazing....

I thought it was going to be the recycled combat, though. On September 18th, Japanese arcades will have to make room for this crazy Rambo cabinet, which contains a 62-inch display and two guns. You play as Sly Stallone as Rambo — of course — in this game that brings together the story from the first three movies. You’ll use a machine gun to mow down enemies in scenes taken directly from the movie, like “Sneak into the enemy base,” each complete with accompanying footage and images from the films....

When I reviewedWarriors Orochi 2on the Xbox 360, I wasn’t merficul. In fact, it got a 2.0 thanks to the terrible state in which the final retail copy shipped, marred by such horrendous framerate and slowdown issues that it was practically unplayable. That was on the Xbox 360. The PSP version, small though the system’s resources are when compared to the 360, runs absolutely fine. In fact, it runsbetterthan the 360 version did even after a patch....

I have to admit I experienced definite jealousy when I saw that you could have yourWorld of Warcraftcharacter made into a figure. Our sources tell us that the developer — who released the THQ-published third-person action splatterfest,Conanlast year — is working on an Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network title tentatively called “Zombie Apocalypse.” Details are sketchy, but we’re told the title is an arcade-style game which would also feature online multiplayer support....
