A short while ago we talked about how Vigil had already designed the other three Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who remained absent during the course ofDarksiders. This morning, I got up and had all intentions on heading down to my GameStop just a couple blocks away to see if they had any Wii games for sale. Lucky for me, and you, they did. While most of what they had available was doo doo (we’re talkingAvatar, Dragonball ZandHappy Feethere) they did have two very anticipated titles —Rayman Raving RabbidsandMadden NFL 07. It was all bad news there for awhile, but there’s some light at the end of the tunnel for games, and it’s coming from Japan’s game market. The business pulled in 493.7 billion yen last year ($5.96 billion USD) in the Land of the Rising Sun, and that was a year with no major console launches. Free DLC?! UNHEARD OF!!! Zipper Interactive announced on the PlayStation Blog thatMAGwill be receiving its first DLC pack next week, and it’s going to be free! The “Trooper Gear Pack” will include flashbang grenades, two new uniforms, and new special edition Light Machine Guns for each PMC. Zipper will also be throwing a Double XP party on top of the new DLC, which comes out on March 25. The Double XP bonus starts on the day the DLC drops and ends on March 28....
