Renegade Kid’s next title isATV Wild Ride. Yes, it’s totally not what you were expecting based on its track record with theDementiumseries andMoon. The game is aiming to be the best ATV experience you can get on the DS with 24 tracks spanning the US, Thailand, England, Russia, Canada and Mexico, in addition to four-player multiplayer, 60 frames-per-second and the ability to perform dozens of “wild” tricks. While a racing game may have been the last thing you were ever expecting, it’s actually “been a dream” of both Jools Watsham and Gregg Hargrove, the Co-founders of Renegade Kid, to make a “fast-paced arcade racing game for the DS with the Renegade Engine....

It seems that in this pre-TGS period, positive points are popping up for PS3 people. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Swordhas a rather unique, and potential divisive, art style that carries with it a little whiff of watercolor. Producer Eiji Aonuma has explained why the art style was chosen, revealing that the decision was fueled by a need to exaggerate the swordfighting. “One of the reasons we’ve chosen the art style we have withSkyward Swordis that it is a better vehicle to showcase the exaggerated characteristics of some of the characters,” he reveals....
Battle Kid: Fortress of Perilhas apparently been kicking around for a while, but I’d never seen it before. It wasn’t at PAX East or PAX Prime, and it sure as hell wasn’t at E3. However, it does look pretty awesome. If you can’t tell from the video, this is a new in-cartridge NES game being sold in some Tokyo shops. Note that this was an NES cart, and not a Famicom game....
It’s official: 20 million downloadableCall of Dutymap packs have been sold and counting. Perhaps now you may see why everyone is expecting the franchise to inevitably go subscription-based with its multiplayer component. The potential there as another revenue source is practically unfathomable. I mean, what more in the way of proof do you need? Collectively, we are willing to pay for the games, the map packs — no matter if they cost $10, $15, or whatever — and you know something like a monthly fee wouldn’t be enough to stop the majority of players....

8 Bit Alliance has made a splash in the UK in previous years but now the tour is finally invading the United States! The 8 Bit Alliance Tour will be visiting the US all this month and will consist of chiptune artists Anamanaguchi, Starscream, Sabrepulse and Henry Homesweet.
