Youknowyou need a new brand name whenyour own staffcan’t remember which franchise game is coming out for which platform. That’s what happened in the case ofRikiya Koyama, aVesperiavoice actor.

Koyama commented on his blog that “Tales of Vesperiawas released on the Xbox 360, and now the PS3, and soon aVesperiafor the Wii.” Needless to say, the hint brought tears of joy to Wii-owning fans alongside cries of(further)betrayal from Xbox 360 owners.

A few days later Koyamaretracted the statementand apologized, saying that he confusedTales of VesperiawithTales of Graces, theactualWii release, due next month in Japan. I feel a little sorry for him, because he’s not even going to be inTales of Graces‘ voice cast.

Wii-owners who want a taste ofVesperia‘s excellent character designs (by Kosuke Fujishima, a.k.a. theSakura Warsguy) aren’t left entirely in the cold, as the first piece of DLC forTales of Gracesis aVesperiacostume pack, of which you can find a snazzy video below.

Then again, thatVesperiacostume packcosts money, officially makingGracesthe first JRPG on the platform to havepaidDLC. Good going, Namco Bandai!
