Looks like the onlyResident Evilwe’re getting on the Nintendo 3DS this year will beResident Evil: Mercenaries 3D. Capcom’s officialResident EvilFacebook pageis pegging the other game,Resident Evil: Revelations, for a 2012 release.
Revelations is the narrative driven title of the two, and arguably the one fans are most looking forward. Mercenaries is a portable version of the “Mercenaries” mini-game included inResident Evil 4andResident Evil 5. It’s out this summer, and looks pretty good in its own right. Bonus:it comes with a demoofRevelations!
Capcom has also released some concept art forRevelations, so hopefully that’ll keep you sated until we get something more substantial.
