Arriving to their own party well after everybody has already started in on the appetizers, Nintendo has finally confirmed the existence of their new console. In a note released alongside their quarterly earnings report, the company addressed the rumors by stating that they plans to release a new console in 2012. In addition, they confirm that a “playable model” of said console will be at the Electronics Entertainment Expo this June.
So there you have it. New Nintendo console on display in a little over a month. Commence with whatever it is that one does in these situations. Excitement? I hear that’s popular.
