The planet’s temperature is increasing. We all know this. Every Summer seems to be the new hottest on record, and we’re rapidly becoming mere space-burgers on the great cosmic barbeque of the sun. Thankfully though, there are games companies out there doing their best to protect us from flame-grilled crispiness by trying to ensure that we won’t see daylight for the entirety of the season.
Nintendo have announced their Summer Wii and DS lineup, firmly turning the mighty firehose of gaming justice onto the traditional dry period in the year’s release schedules. It’s a pretty damn hefty list (hefty likethis), with over 40 games spread over both systems between July and September, and it seems that the Wii might finally be getting the momentum kick we’ve been waiting for.
While new EA Sports updates and a couple of licenses might not be overly exciting,Battalion Wars 2andMario Strikers Chargedare very promising, and there’s also the small matter of this little game calledMetroid Prime 3…
