Tekken 5: Dark Resurrectionis kind ofTekken 5.5. It’s a minor upgrade that showed up in arcades a short while afterTekken 5, and was later ported to the PSP where it reigns as the finest game on the system (and the only reason to own the dumb paperweight). Famitsu states that it’s going to be available for download on the PlayStation 3 in the near future with upgraded graphics and a new playable character not included in the PSP or arcade version.
T5:DReasily eclipses any of the titles out for the PS3 currently, and it would certainly be a valid reason to pick the system up, especially if they implemented proper online play. Namco, you really upset us all when you let the creator ofKatamari Damacyget away with only making 3 titles, and if you screw this up, you’ll see me burningPacmaneffigies in the streets.
