Along with announcing anewDoomgame, Activision, id, and Raven Software also saw fit to release some new media for their upcoming first person shooterWolfensteinat QuakeCon. Although Nickorigionally expectedthe title to be a placeholder, the new logo seems to lend credence to the game lacking any sort of ridiculous subtitle.

The new trailer shows the war-torn city that series protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz will be making his way through, along with several of the Nazi’s that he’ll be killing with his new supernatural powers. Those black Nazi power suits are looking particularly snazzy — and how about those cool energy guns — I’d totally wear one to industry events if I could get all the Nazi symbols replaced with Mr. Destructoid faces.

Some of the screens in the gallery do a good job of showing side-by-side comparisons of what the alternate dimension known only as The Shroud will look like. Aside from the weird green sky it doesn’t seem too out of the ordinary yet. Still, I’d gladly take an alternate dimension that’s “not so different” as opposed to “can’t see a thing because it’s so ridiculously dark.”The Darkness, I’m looking at you.
