It comes as no surprise that Microsoft has an overly pretentious family enjoying the Kinect in this trailer. Looking past that, the video does a great job showing off how damnfunthis game looks. It also gets me all nostalgic and fuzzy inside seeing Elmo and Cookie Monster beautifully rendered in a vibrantly colorful world.
Double Fine has been moreexperimentalthan usual lately, but theyalwaysknow how to craft games packed with memorable charactersandspot-on writing while introducing new and interesting gameplay mechanics with each new title. I look forward to the same amount of quality fromSesame Street: Once Upon a Monsterwhen it launches for the Kinect on October 11th.
