I got to hand it to thoseLost Planetpeople; they certainly like to keep their community happy. It seems like new map packs are coming out every other month, doesn’t it? Well, I could be mistaken. When you have a serious Absinthe addiction like I do, your brain starts playing tricks on you. Either way, on June 21st,Lost Planetfans will have three brand new snazzy maps to play with. Multiplayer map pack #3 for Lost Planet ™: Extreme Condition for Xbox360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft will beavailable for download on Xbox Live(r) Marketplace on Thursday, June 21.The map pack costs 400 Microsoft Points™ and includes THREE newmultiplayer levels: “Lost Technology,” a throw-back to the good ol’ daysof pixelated 8-bit gaming; “Ruins,” ancient temples set amidst a lushjungle; and “Ice Drop,” a frigid glacier with lots of peaks, nooks andcrannies.
When I read the “Lost Technology” level was a throwback to 8-bit gaming, my first thought wasBionicCommando. How sweet would that be? Oh well, you can’t have it all, can you? Either way, these maps look great, and for 400 points; well worth it.
