Activision Blizzard loves its yearly sequels, as CEO Bobby Kotickhas confirmedthat a newCall of Dutywill arrive in 2009, even thoughWorld at Warhasn’t even been released yet.
Kotick said that this “all newCall of Dutygame” will “leapfrog” development teams, presumably meaning that Infinity Ward will take charge for the project. Infinity Ward is still working on its new secret project, but has stated that it will be “quite a while” before we can learn anything more about that.
In the meantime, sit back and watch Activision continue to be one of the industry’s most succulent dairies, milking its franchises for all they are worth.
