When I’m in the mood forPac-Man, my favorite way to play it is to fire up theChampionship Edition, but I can definately see the advantage of being able to fire it up on your computer anytime you get the urge. Namco now offers the option of playing bothPac-ManandDig-Dugthrough Facebook, and while the demos are free, there’s a catch: actually downloading the game costs $9.99, and you’re able to’t play it in your browser.
The comments are pretty brutal, especially the ones forPac-Man. There’s also no Mac version, which certainly isn’t going to win any points with those users. Sorry Namco, I think you missed the mark on this one. Better luck next time?
