Musically inclined fans of game audio may want to check out SquareSound’s musical arrangement competition. The prize: two VIP tickets to the upcomingDistant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasyconcert in Chicago on Jul 20, 2025. Wow.

December 2007 marked the 20-year anniversary of theFinal Fantasyseries, and composer Nobuo Uematsu is responsible for most of the series’ amazing music. The Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasyconcert highlights this amazing music and makes its US premiere in March. It will be performed by the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra and will be conducted by Arnie Roth.  The two hour concert will even feature the famedFinal Fantasycomposer himself.

Those lucky enough to land VIP tickets will recieve a Distant Worlds music CD and program, prime seats, and the ability to attend an exclusive meet-and-greet session with Mr. Uematsu after the concert. Too bad those tickets are already sold out!
