Kaz Hirai. That name also brings back memories for me as well. Sony is doing some shuffling around of staff in a restructure, and through that our favorite E3 presenter is getting a promotion.
Right now Kaz Hirai is the president of Sony Computer Entertainment. That already sounds like a supreme title, dosen’t it? But now that Sony is dividing things up into two separate businesses, ol’ Kaz is being promoted to vice president of the Consumer Products and Services group, which means that he will be in charge of Sony’s entire consumer electronics business, saysEDGE. I’m sure he’ll make even more U.S. dollars.
