Rumor has it that the DSi will be getting its first exclusive games this fall, but Japanese studio Alpha Unit is apparentlylaying claim to the titleof theveryfirst.Monster Finderlooks like a poor man’sPokémon, where the obvious conceit is the use of the DSi camera in order to … well … find monsters, obviously.

Although not the first game ever announced to use the DSi camera in this way (Ghostwiretakes that credit), reports seem to suggest that this will be the first gamereleased, with a tentative launch window of some time this winter. With DSi games rumored to be arriving this Fall, I’m not sure how this game is supposed to be the first, but its exclusivity to the DSi is certainly not in question.

The game boasts over 100 different monster designs, but little else has been shared. There’s anofficial Web site, however, that promises new details soon.

So … how many “use the camera to find ghost/monsters/fairies/pedophiles” games do you think we’ll have by the end of next year? I’m guessing we’ll reach double figures.
