A post onMyGamerCard.Netjust revealed some of the truly hardcore achievements for the 360 version ofMega Man 9(first reported on by Destructoid’s ownSpacecat). Amazingly enough, the post also reveals the sprites for many of the game’s bosses for the first time, though it’s text makes no mention of this.
This is big news, people! Doesn’t MGC realize how longMega Manfanboys like myself have been dying to see if Splash Woman is in fact based off Daryl Hannah’s character in the filmSplash? Almost months! Finally we have our answer in the form of this sprite. From the looks of it, I’d say “not likely!”
The bosses are (going clockwise starting from the top left) Jewel Man, Magma Man, Splash Woman, Hornet Man, Tornado Man, Concrete Man, Galaxy Man, and Plug Man.
