It’s a big day for theMaddenteam at EA Tiburon: today, EA Sports officially announced (see PR after the jump) thatMadden NFL 10has gone gold. In case you’re unfamiliar with gaming industry lingo, “gold” means that the game is done — all they’ve got to do now is press the discs.Madden 10won’t actually be available in stores for just under a month, though (August 12th), so we’ve also got some details regarding thegame’s demosto share with you.
Two weeks from today (July 30th), a demo featuring a classic football rivalry — the Dallas Cowboys versus the New York Giants — will be made available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace. It’ll be a winter night game at the Meadowlands in blizzard-like conditions.
But if you pre-orderMadden 10at GameStop, you’ll also have access to an exclusive second demo in one week (July 23rd). That one will offer a full game — four five-minute quarters — between this year’s Super Bowl combatants, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals.
